This is a very nice Vintage Smoking Pipe. I am not sure made this one but I have told that it is a Meersham, but I am not an expert and this one is not marked. It has a wooden Stem with a Metal Tip that has a Star on the back side. Then the bowl has alot of detail work. T is what looks like a Fox or Hound, A House, alot of scroll work and then 1870 (0r 1810). The Bowl could be made of Ivory or Bone but again I do not know. The Top of the bowl is unusual as it has a cover that is hindged and vented, all in metal. T are two different marks on the metal part of the bowl. First t are is "P.G". on right side and "K.L." on the left side. The Pipe is about 9 1/2 inches long. The bowl is about 3 to 3 1/2 inches long. This Pipe has been well used. It is in good condition for its age. Please check out the pictures on this one to see how unusual this one is. Words cannot describe this one! SO Please check out the pictures and see for Yourself!
