Up for auction is an old fashioned wash stand with basin, pitcher and candle holders. This nice piece is pretty, and would look very nice in a number of spaces in any home. I am not an expert, and am selling this for someone that says she bought it about 6 years ago at a sale. I consider it to be in good condition. I noticed t is a very small sticker on the back of the mirror that says "made in Taiwan". The all wood stand is approximately 29" high, 21 1/2" across. The mirror rods are 24" long, attach to the mirror that mounts on the stand, and the mirror is 12" high and 9 1/2" wide. The pitcher is about 25" across (incl.handle) and the basin 16". You'll be able to see by the pictures, t are some flaws, but t are also some pretty colors on this. The bowl has a couple of small spots underneath that are a little rough to the touch, and the one spot appears to be a very small chip. The picture will show what appears to be what I consider a small amount of the stain worn. I did not notice it until I examined it more closely, with the bowl removed. The legs appear to be barley twisted. I have listed this item as a "pick up", but if you wish, I would be more than happy to make arrangements with you for shipping. Please note the following regarding shipping: The stand is disassembled for shipping, but is easily reassembled. Wingnuts are provided for putting the mirrior back in place. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS PIECE, IT WILL BE TAKEN TO A UPS PACK AND SHIP STORE TO ASSURE IT REACHES YOU IN THE BEST CONDITION POSSIBLE! Insurance will be included in the shipping charge. The UPS store indicated they would ship in two boxes, and use the weights of 42# and 36# and charge a packing fee of $30 total. They also advised that depending on the location of the buyer, it could cost between $36 and $100 total for shipping. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
