I started off by offering just the soldiers, but then I thought back and realized that what made 'Playing' with soldiers so much fun was the ability to add different types of units, so I added the tanks and the other vehicles. Somehow that still didn't bring back the complete joy of playing. I needed an enemy, so I added ogres, aliens, monsters and more. No, I wasn't done yet. The enemy needed an evil leader, so I did what all us boys did before political correctness and being sensitive to others ruined things, I found a doll and created 'Zombie Barby'* The brand was not as important as how much it would make our sisters scream when they saw their favorite doll mutilated. Were we depraved? Yes. Anyway, at least it allowed us to act out our frustration with life in the comfort of the home, not spend thousands of dollars in therapy,or go out and shoot down innocent people in schools and movie theaters.
