DWO1149 Vintage Platinum and 18K Yellow gold Diamond Band Bid on this ring!!! Here we have a ring that features a platinum top with a wide yellow gold shank. The top is set with 27 old mine and old European cut diamonds, prong set in 3 rows of 9 stones. These diamonds have an estimated total weight of 1.80ct. The diamonds grade an average GIA/H color, GIA/VS clarity. The platinum top of the ring was once part of another late Victorian/early Edwardian ring. The old shank had worn away and was removed. The top had then been installed on to a custom made yellow shank. The platinum top of the ring measures 8 mm wide by 21.5 mm long. The shank measures 5 mm wide at the bottom. The ring weighs 10.8 grams… Finger size is a tight 8. It can be sized approximately 1 size up or down. We would be happy to size the ring for a flat $45 fee. This ring is an estate piece that was taken in on trade and then refurbished by us. It does show some slight surface scratches. The ring is stamped “18k”, “Plat”, and “GJ”. We are a jewelry store and have been in business in Palo Alto , California for over 78 years. The stone identification was done by our Certified Gemologist Appraiser. This item is offered at no reserve. Sales tax of 9.25% on shipments to California addresses. Buyer to pay for shipping. Payment preferred via Paypal within 3 days of end of auction.
