You are bidding on a POLAROID SLR680SE Single Lens Reflex Camera in Like New condition. The Camera is remarkable in several ways:First, it focuses down to as close as 10.4”, something that was so significant that POLAROID contacted me a few years ago and offered to buy it back — seems the camera had Medical applications that made it valuable in that area. Second, there is no battery in the camera — the battery is contained in the film pack (Type 600 Color Film), so every time you load new film you get a fresh battery! This one is in Excellent++ condition — essentially blemish-free, the lens is perfect, the bellows is like brand new, the mechanisms all work perfectly. The images produced are razor sharp and vibrant. There is currently an exhausted film pack in the camera that’s been there literally for years , and the battery is still strong and fresh , and operates all the functions of the camera for your testing purposes. Don’t worry – I checked – there is no corrosion or contamination of the camera in the film pack/battery case area. The autofocus feature of the camera is fast and accurate and the automatic flash (which can be turned off for longer exposures – 5 seconds and more) makes excellent exposures.
