This stunning vintage Poole Pottery Plate dates I believe to around the 1960s. It is signed by the Artist to the reverse-AF (Andrea Fontana) and also has the Poole England Mark together with the number 589. The Plate has an unusual shape, and has a diameter of approximately 7.5 inches. There is an imperfection which I think may have been present in the production process and which looks like a tight firing crack perhaps-this measures approximately 1cm long- it DOES NOT go through to the other side of the Plate. The Plate weighs approximately 393 grams, and will make a lovely vintage addition to any Poole collection.
