This auction is for a vintage medium sized sterling silver compote. It was made by Poole Silver Co. (P.S. Co). Overall it is in good condition. T are no major dings, dents, or stratches. However, the bowl does not sit parallel to the ground (probably an easy fix), and t are some very small, minor dings (about 3 or 4 inside the bowl, 3 or four on the top of the base, and several around the outside edge of the bottom of the base). This piece is 5 3/4" tall, and 5 7/8" in diameter (the bowl). It is weighted and gross weight is 7.61 ounces. T is probably close to 3 ounces of silver (I scrapped one last week that had close to 3 ounces and this one is made of a thicker gauge silver and is larger). Use it or scrap it!! See the last picture for the markings on the bottom. See my other auctions for sterling silver items. I will combine/discount shipping whenever possible (unless items are too large or heavy to ship together). Buyer pays actual shipping costs. T is a $2.00 handling charge. Insurance is optional but recommended. I am not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs during shipping if insurance is not purchased. International buyers please ensure that this item is allowed into your country through the postal service. International buyers are responsible for any customs fees or duties if applicable. Paypal, money orders and personal checks accepted ( paypal only for international buyers ). Money orders & checks must clear before item will be sent out. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.
