Pope Gosser China "Victory" 76 piece Service for Twelve please click on any thumbnail to view the larger image Presenting this very lovely vintage set of Pope Gosser China in the Victory #1203 pattern. This is a Complete 76 piece Service for Twelve. Wonderful for Holiday Entertaining!! T are Twelve 6 piece place settings which include: Dinner Plate 10 inch Salad Plate 7½ inch Bread and Butter Plate 6¼ inch Sauce or Berry Bowl 5 inch Cup 4 inch diameter 2 inch tall Saucer 6 inch In addition to the twelve place settings, this set also includes four vegetable bowls: Oval Vegetable Bowl 10½ x 8¼ x 2½ inch Oval Vegetable Bowl 9½ x 7¾ x 2¼ inch (2) Round Vegetable Bowls 7¾ x 1½ inch The set was found at a recent Estate Auction in Sun City, Arizona stored in a china cabinet. The entire set is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with no chips or cracks. The gold is not worn and the pattern is still quite bright on a creamy white ground. T is some evidence of faint crazing as would be expected for china of this age. POPE GOSSER VICTORY: The Pope Gosser China Company operated in Ohio from 1903 until it closed its doors in 1958. The Victory pattern was manufactured for a few years after the end of WWII to commemorate the Victory. Pieces of Pope Gosser Victory are extremely hard to find.
