Vintage Porcelain Hall Pottery Nautilus Teapot Teal Green with Gold Trim 6 Cup This auction is for a gorgeous 6 cup capacity Hall "Nautilus" teapot in a dark teal / blue green color (I believe that Hall called this color turquoise) with beautiful gold trim detail. This is one of the most ornate of the teapot molds made by Hall. There is bright gold trim on the handle, around the top of the teapot and the lid, the base and the spout. The top of the lid has a scalloped fan shaped finial. The teapot is stamped in gold on the bottom "Hall 0660 6 cup Made in U.S.A. 26" and an incised mark that says "Hall Made in U.S.A." There is also an incised mark on the bottom edge that looks like A2. This vintage teapot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing but it does look like there is some light tea staining in the bottom of the pot and around the lid. I have not tried to clean it. The height from the bottom of the teapot to the top of the finial is approximately 7 inches; from the outer edge of the handle to the tip of the spout it is approximately 9 ¼”. Please Note: This teapot is a deep teal green! No matter how many pictures I took or what background I used, the flash made it appear a much lighter shade. Please keep in mind this is a turquoise pot in making a decision to bid. Please look at the pictures closely as read more
