For bid is an older, cast coin bank in near-mint condition. It is a replica of the former Port Angeles Savings and Loan Assn. building located in downtown Port Angeles, WA. I don't know the history of the S&L but I think it went out of business many years ago. The building still stands and has been home to several banks over the years. The coin bank has no chips, no scratches, no dings. It appears to retain 100% of its original finish. On the negative side, it appears that someone tried to jimmy it open as the key is lost. The minor damage to the keyhole in no way dimishes the overall appearance, however, and the bank will be an excellent addition to anyone's collection.
