Vintage Portable Picnic HMV Gramophone / Record Player Search This gramophone is a super example that dates from the 1930s and is in excellent working order. This is by the HMV company and has their name and logo on the inside of the lid. The rexine covered case is in very good order bearing in mind its age and the chrome fittings are in very good condition inside. There are some needles with it in the fold out pocket to the front. The machine winds on a handle to play 78s and comes with five 78 rpm records. This is one of 2 really good condition, clean examples we currently have listed, this black cased model and a rarer green cased example. Please see our other listings in our ebay shop. This appears to have had very little use and is in super order. It even has its original working key which locks the front clasp. I've had loads of these but thats a first! This is a lovely nostalgic piece that has a great tone and is loads of fun. This measures 12" wide 18" deep and is 8" high. Any enquiries please give me a call on 07769255544 to discuss.
