This very old postcard album contains a collection of over 50 postcards,all are holiday,greeting and birthday.The album itself is 14" by 9 and 1/2",is covered with a dark blue fabric that features green and white florals and nice lettering.It has pages and covers intact,(one page a bit loose from cover,) but pages are very faded at borders and brittle,a few pages have tears and pieces missing at edges,slotted holders have torn on several pages that have the cards,the remaining empty pages are brittle also at edges.Corners and edges of the album have wear,but t are no tears or holes in the actual covers.Back shows fading at top and bottom.T are 32 pages total,about half have cards.None of the cards are glued or pasted in,all may be removed easily,but putting them back in may cause some page/slot damage,unless done very carefully.Some of these date to as far back as 1908,most are from about 1910 through 1930,a few appear to be later.Many of have been used postally,some have not.Most are in very nice condition,very colorful with florals,red and yellow roses,one with bright red poppies,others have embossments,animals,bunnies,chicks,turkeys,etc.T are 52 cards,22 are Valentine's Day related,4 are Thanksgiving,2 are New Year's,one is Christmas,7 are Easter,the remainder are Birthday and general greeting.One of the Easter ones has many creases,another has rubs to edges,a few have postal cancellation marks that show through,but only a few have any small tears,soil spots,or damage otherwise. (As I have not removed all of these from the book,because of the fragility of the pages,I do not know condition of all the corners,but most appear to be unbroken,a few show corner wear.) Nice older collection of cards for saving,display or resale individually!
