Up for bid is this incredible lot of vintage postcards. I have been collecting for around 15 years. What you see is my personal collection, not the extras. Great for a dealer lot or to add to your collection or get you started. They will come in a newer photo album. They have been removed to take the pictures. They will be ready to show or to sell for the dealers out t T are a lot of beautiful artists and companies represented Whitney, Clapsaddle, Winsch, and more. Lots of subject matter and holidays as well, animals, flowers, children, Santas, Angels, cherubs, bunny rabbits, chicks, eggs, turkeys, sentiments, greetings, and don't forget the Halloween. I was born on Halloween and that is how my collection got started. I found that t were just so many beautiful postcards out t, I expanded upon it. As any collector knows, the most highly sought postcards are Halloween, their value just keeps going up. Santas and angels, as well as animals are highly collectible as well. Trust me, t is something for everyone in I have a few place postcards including a Chicago World's Fair postcard stamped 1934. T are so many, It would take forever to list them individually, so I will try to group them as best as I can. The pictures, I hope are clear enough to see what you are getting. Picture 1. Includes 1 Calendar 1911 Picture 6. Misc. Birthday, Good Wishes, Greetings, Friendship (27). Includes 1 Christmas with books, New Year with dafodils, and Birthday angel with 4 leaf clovers. Picture 7. Misc. Embossed, aplique, ribbons, 1 booklet (17). Booklet is an Easter with cross and doves by John Winsch 1913. Includes 7 Easter, 5 Greetings, best wishes, 2 Birthday, 1 Christmas, 1 New Year. Picture 8. Misc. Easter bunny/rabbit, chick (24). Includes 4 Raphael Tuck & Sons, 2 Brer rabbit, 2 that seem to be in the same series, and 2 that have the same illustration but one with a white background the other with a gold with 3 bunnies dancing around an egg.
