Vintage Private Detective Badge - nameaddress on back This is a Vintage REAL Metal Private Detective Badge. The back is engraved with the following, "GUS D. MESSING, 141 E. 3RD ST., ST. PAUL, MINN.(could be the private detctives name and address). It is 2 inches by 2 inches in size and in very good to excellent condition. I got this from an estate sale and they told me that the person listed on the back was actually a private detective back in the late 40's and early 50's. I do my best to accurately describe every item based on physical inspection of the item and/or any information that was provided to me when I acquired the item.
