Vintage "doll" purse from the mid-20th century. The doll's head is hard plastic with a handpainted face and braided synthetic hair. her lace and felt bonnet is attached. The blouse is a white synthetic weave fabric, as is the ribbon around her waist. Her vest, apron, and skirt are made from and old fashioned woven felt material. The red skirt has six white and yellow felt flower appliques. A metal zipper in the back opens to the purse. The purse strap is 11 inches long, made from red felt doubled over and sewn. Her hands are made of felt, sewn to the ends of her blouse sleeves. She is approximately 6 inches tall. This little doll purse is a unique, handmade piece of folk art ! The condition is very good to excellent. She has no tears or rips. Ther is a slight stain on the left sleeve that might be an old glue stain from when she was made. Smoke-free home.
