Up for auction is this VERY OLD PYREX COFFEE POT, #8106-B, with a unique spindle type handle and the metal band running around the pot is red. This rare charming find has no chips, cracks, etc. and is totally complete. This pot has a rather blue tint and now does it say what size it is - and the best I can figure, filling it with water - it is an 8 cup. This whole glass assembly measures 8.5" tall to the top of the lid and the base diameter is 5". The glass stem pump has the same number - 8106 , the lid reads pyrex Made in U.S.A and the bottom displays all in green the pyrex flame, reading underneath that Pyrex, Flameware, Made in U.S.A., 8106 B. The red metal band has paint loss and probably could be repainted by the purchaser, but I personally think this adds charm to this antique.
