12 quart size BALL PERFECT MASON BLUE QUART CANNING JARS Numbers are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 12. They have been hand washed because I don't have a dishwasher, so you may find a little dirt in the grooves.They came from my moms and she used them for canning when I was a child... a very long time ago. She is now in a nursing home and I'm selling items to help pay for her expenses. I will be listing more if needed. Please email with any questions. Right about 1910, Ball began phasing out the familiar "shoulder seal" type jars (the cap screws right down onto the shoulder) and went to a new style called a "bead seal". (the cap screwed down onto a bead of glass at the neck) Also about 1910, the loop was omitted from the script style. These jars are called "2-L" jars. The "a" in Ball always started with an ascender, and this is called a "dropped a". This script style was used for about 13 years on most of their jars.
