A sweet and charming scarce, possibly rare, 2 sided hand painted and beautifully decorated covered inkwell-double pen holder. One side shows a Breton peasant women and the other side is flowers and the form is like a semi-circle.(very unusual). I have a 14 year old Quimper Pottery reference book with prices by Ann Marie O'neill, this piece is not t...rare? Condition: Very good to excellent. T are no chips, no cracks and no repairs, however t is no inkwell insert. That is the only problem. Size: 4" high; 3" deep; 3 1/2" wide Age: The signature (photo #4) was done 1943-1960 Value: Similiar inkwells in my 14 year old book is listed at $275-350.00+++++(years for inflation).
