This is a circa 1940's Mahogany shell, 6" Slingerland, Radio King Snare Drum, which is a rare bird. The drum is being sold as is. The drum, on it's own, has that great old time wood sound. The shell has some small cracks in it. The hardware, rims, lugs, are nickel plated brass. All original. The strainer is the 3 point Krupa. The lugs are the Beavertail type. That on it's own would make the price of the drum well worth it. The tension screws are not original, as well as the thumb screw on the strainer. You will enjoy playing this drum, or you can use the hardware on another shell.
By the way, the cat you see in the left hand corner of the snare drum photo, is not included in this sale!
