VINTAGE RAFFAELLESCO PLATE made in ITALY Charming mid 20th century Italian majolica luncheon plate with scalloped edges made by Fratelli Fanciullacci. The plate is painted in the Raffaellesco manner of the Italian Renaissance. The plate is 10" in diameter, with yellow rim. The design is called RAFFAELLESCO featuring dragon and sphinx like creatures, Demetrio’s father, Rafaello Fanciullacci, established the Brothers Fanciullacci ceramica factory on the island of Capraia in 1862.
