These bar stools are a rare find for a true railroad collector. They are from a 1951 Private Lounge Car the "Running Crane Lake" which is in private service near Salem, Oregon. The stools are designed to be bolted down. The pedestals are spring loaded cast aluminum by alcoa and have the date 12-17-31 stamped on them. They are well used. The paint on the pedestals shows scratches and one of the seats is worn with a small worn spot on the back (see pictures for wear marks). The stools are numbered 12 and 13. Each stool weighs 25 pounds. The pedestal is 29" high and 8" diameter at the bottom of the pedestal. The seats are 16" wide. The overal total length from the top of the seat back to the bottom of the pedestal is 44". These stools would be terrific if refurbished. The free listing tool.
