THESE PHOTOS ARE WELL WORTH THE WAIT! You are bidding on a Vintage Rain / Motion Oil Lamp...in EXCELLENT "ORIGINAL" CONDITION! This wonderful table-top lamp stands just over tall 36", has a maximum diameter of 13", and is PRETTY DARN C@@L! One of the photos was actually taken with my three-year-old daughter to help show you just how impressive the size of this lamp is. It comes complete with an electrical cord, which features an inline dial on/off switch located on the electrical cord itself. This lamp features a metal and carved wood construction, sharp greenery, and a VERY UNIQUE DESIGN! Best of all...this lamp comes complete with the ~highly coveted~ THREE NUDE GODDESSES! How cool is that? I believe this lamp was manufactured by Creators, Inc., as it reminds me of several I have sold in the past. I would date this lamp to the late 1 960's or the early 1970's. I can tell you one thing...this is not cheap junk and 100% GUARANTEED ORIGINAL! She was not a low dollar purchase back in the day! I spent about an hour cleaning this lamp, making sure that it WORKS PERFECTLY UPON ARRIVAL! T is no major damage on this lamp...WHATSOEVER! You will be hard-pressed to find a lamp in this unbelievable condition...ANYW! These unique lamps work by pumping oil to the top of the lamp (through a hidden tube in one of the metal columns), and then it drains (gravity assistance) down the fishing line-like strings, to the base w the entire process starts over again. Once you turn the lamp on, t will be a small delay for the "rain" to start dripping...and once it starts...it won't stop until the lamp is turned off. (Actually, it even drips several minutes after it is turned off.) This lamp takes a standard 40 watt indoor spot light, and the rain is actual mineral oil, which can be purchased for a couple of bucks at any pharmacy such as Wal-Mart. This particular lamp requires just over four pints of mineral oil, which will be completely drained (and not included) for mess-free shipping.
