We're putting up for auction a Ralph Bone dagger (also known as a stiletto fighting knife) from a family estate. The blade, which measures 6.75 inches, has absolutely no signs of use or wear; the tip is not broken or blunted, and both sides of the blade are very sharp. The overall length is 11.5 inches. Inscribed on one side is the dog bone logo with the words " Bone " " Lubbock, Tex. ". On the other side is "B" "2 4 6" . From my research I believe that the knife was made before 1970, and the " B" is a style designation. It has a brass guard and pommel, with brass and black spacers. The handle is a fine-grained wood, possibly rosewood. The letter "M" is inscribed on the top of the pommel (the owner's last name started with an M); the inscription style matches other Bone inscriptions I've seen in pictures. The knife was kept in a home office drawer, and was never seen by family members, who were surprised he had it. There was no sheath and no documentation with it. Please contact if you have questions; ships from Ruston, Louisiana. (NOTE: WILL SHIP ONLY TO U.S.A.)
