Randall Made Knife Model #1-7 "All Purpose Fighting Knife" 7" Tool Steel BladeUpper Edge Not Sharp / Sharpened Double Nickel Silver Hilt Straight Black Micarta Handle Johnson Roughback Sheath Randall Made Knives Carry Case Excellent ConditionMy summary: this is an older Randall 1-7 Fighting Knife in excellent condition. The blade is spot on 7" long -- it appears that the knife went back to the shop for cleaning at some point in the past. (the finish is a bit bright) The blade exhibits light handling / scratches / insertion marks but none are what I'd consider an eyesore. The knife isn't all that sharp -- you'll probably want to put a good edge on it before any use. The upper edge has not been sharpened which is rather unique for a fighting knife. The knife is outfitted with a double nickel silver hilt and straight black micarta handle. Nothing fancy -- light handling on the hilt -- the handle is in great shape. The sheath is a brown Johnson roughback with a plain salmon stone in the pouch. Perhaps lightly carried -- it's really hard to tell. That said, the sheath is in fabulous shape. It's correctly stamped with a 7 on the back -- no problem with the stitching and the snaps work perfectly. 12 photos below for review -- the Randall Made Knives carry case is included. This is a no-nonsense knife / sheath combination in excellent condition -- perfect if you're looking for a Randall fighter to take in to the field. Good luck.
