Rooster Figural Character Stein Hard-to-find and in excellent condition! This is a beautiful character stein - a full figured rooster with a hinged head for the lid. It's made of a heavy yellowish pottery with an embossed handle. The rooster has very nicely detailed features and he's holding a pocket watch with his feet. The thumb rest is pewter with an ornate design. T's an impressed number, 832, on bottom. T also is a very faint mark - very lightly impressed and, unfortunately not legible (at least, not by me!) My best guess is that this was made in Germany in the early to mid 20th century. It's definitely not a new piece. The stein is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It measures 9 inches tall, 4 inches in diameter (not including handle). We ship with USPS Priority Mail. The calculated shipping fees are based on the actual weight of this item (1 lbs 12 oz) plus an estimated 1 1/2 lbs. for the box and packing materials.
