Dutch Graniteware / Enamelware Laundry Set w/ Wall Rack European laundry set with like-new shine and great Flame Orange / Red color. Bold white lettering is crisp and sharp! Color shades from orange to red--notice the red rims on the cups. Shading is hard to depict in the photos, but it really "makes" this set! Set was purchased from an older woman who emigrated from The Netherlands shortly after WWII. Cups are labeled: Zand / Zeep / Soda (sand, soap and soda). Made in Holland, probably in the 30's, and is in amazing condition. Some chipping (see photos) but nothing that detracts when displayed. When you consider that these pieces are 60+ years old, the condition is truly amazing! When I bought these, I thought they were labeled for COOKING ingredients! Silly me! Whether in the kitchen or laundry, this set will get noticed! I'd guess this set was never hung on a wall, might never have been used. T are no nicks or scrapes around the hanging holes. Cups are nearly perfect, even inside, as if they've never held anything! Just one has a small chip on the rim, toward the rear. These sets are hard to find in such wonderful condition!
