This beautiful vintage pin/pendant is made with Bohemian Garnets which have a truly brilliant deep red color in addition to sterling silver with a gold plate over the top. They are faceted, giving the pin an impeccable natural sparkle that catches the eye without blinding you. These stones are used in a fantastic star design with 8 points and a slightly raised second layer of garnets, giving it excellent dimension. It was made in the 1940's-50's and is in perfect condition. The perfect accessory to add a bit of color and sparkle to any outfit, and so versatile given its hinged top portion!
