IS A RED COLEMAN MODEL 4-A INSTANT LITE GAS IRON. These are rare items to be found today, you definitely do not see many of them around. In regard to condition, t is one small dent on the tank, t is some scorching under the handle which is typical of these types of irons and the procelain has a couple of small chips on one side but a fair bit of loss on the other side. This is the side you put to the inside of your cupboard when on display and then nobody will even see it! Marked on the handle is "Model 4-A Instant Lite, Coleman Lamp & Stove Co. Ltd., TORONTO, CANADA, with the sunshine logo in the centre". T is some pitting in this area so portions of the words are difficult to read. This is a wonderful iron and great decorative piece.
