I have for your consideration a wonderful Swan Mabie Todd L205 Leverless filler. This is a man sized Swan at 5 & 5/16 inches when capped. It has just the most impressive TRANSPARENT red celluloid (think vintage Italian celluloid like Omas or Tibaldi) patterning embedded with marbled green and bronze swirls. It is fitted with its original and superb, responsive 14 Karat No 2 Swan nib. It's a great writer to say the least! In wonderful condition, I can only see the slightest hint of brassing to the metal parts, and a patina on the hard rubber ends. The plastic parts are glossy and without cracks or even any obvious scratches. The pen is filled by twisting the turning knob. The old ink sac is still pliable and it does take in ink correctly but only a few drops worth as the leverless method was never a very efficient one as the bar takes up so much space within the barrel. The L205 is ready to use or to be added to a collection. A really great pen! ...........................................................................................................
