Vintage Red Star Line Poster by Henri Cassiers, color lithograph by O. De Rycker (Bruxelles, Belgium), depicts the Red Star Line's ocean liner serving England and the Continent route between Plymouth, Cherbourg, and Antwerp, Cassiers designed many advertising posters, along with postcards and menus, for the Red Star Line during his 25 year tenure. This poster is quite charming with the three Flemish "ship-spotters" watching the grand liner as it dwarfs the traditional sailboats in the harbor., mounted and framed under glass. - Some loss to edges, some staining and toning to paper, several tears in margin, not examined out of frame. - Poster 24.25"h x 28.75"w, DOA 28.5"h x 35"w
