TWO VINTAGE RED WING TUREENS/DISHES W COPPER HOLDERS Here we have two beautiful tureens or casserole dishes made by Red Wing Pottery, the design features bobwhite quail, a full-grown quail with a younger one underneath her on one side, a baby on the other. Off-white speckled glaze. These come with what I believe to be the original copper holders which have candle holders under where you set the dishes to keep the food inside warm. All three of these pieces need a thorough cleaning but other than that there are only some very minor scratches on the bottoms from use. These are not noticeable unless you get out a bright lamp and study the bottom. We also have the rest of a huge Red Wing dinner set in this design.
