VINTAGE REDDY KILOWATT STICK PIN & EARRINGS Up for your bid are 2 vintage Reddy Kilowatt stick pin and a pair of screw on Reddy Kilowatt earrings. They are made of brass and enamel. All are 1" tall. Reddy Kilowatt , also known as the Mighty Atom, is a stick figure character created in 1926 as a mascot for electric companies across the United States. His body, arms and legs are lightning bolts. His nose is a light bulb and his ears are wall outlets. Although he is rarely seen anymore, he was a very recognized and popular early advertising character. These items are in excellent used condition. It was hard to get good pictures to show how nice these really are because of reflections. The pins are marked on the back ~ REDDY KILOWATT on leg ~ M.R. on one foot ~ R on one foot The earrings are marked ~ M.R. on one foot ~ R on the other foot Please look closely at the pictures before bidding and feel free to contact me if I can be of any help.
