Vintage Red Work Needle Childs Quilt We are delighted to offer to you this redwork quilt that is is Excellent ++ condition. It was made in 1915 for my elderly neighbor when he was a child. The quilt was passed around the United States in 1915 to all his relatives who then hand stitched a block on the quilt & passed it along down the line. The redwork is well executed, the colors are vibrant and t are some unusual patterns. I love the cat in the halloween pumpkin scaring the dog! It is tied with yarn in between each square. This would be great in a child's room, on the wall or on their bed. It measures 73 " long x "51 wide. It is very well preserved and is in great condition! Only one tiny spot that I can see that needs cleaning and I have shown that in the pics. It is a spot near the turkey(see pic) You just can't find one nicer! T is one very tiny hole on the backside in the backing w one of the buttons is sewn. Not really worth mentioning but I must. What a conversation piece. Simply a Treasure to own! It will be a long time before you will ever see another one of these highly collectible Childs Quilts in this kind of condition! ! Don't miss out! .
