Vintage Regulator Wooden Wall Clock, Hand Carved Round Top in Excellent Condition! Runs nice, chimes the hour on the hour. Separate winding rod for chime so if you do not want to run the chime you don't have to wind it and it won't run. This clock is very clean and all original. This clock is 22 inches long by 12 inches wide and 4.5 inches from front to back. The bezel is solid brass 8.5 inches wide. The glass has no scratches on it. The case has no scratches or dents to speak of it is in near perfect condition and solid. This clock is full of fine craftsmanship. The clock says regulator on the glass and that painting is in good condition only a corner has worn paint and it still looks nice. This clock has a nice tick toc sound. The chime is an old spring gong chime that sounds nice in this clock case. The face has some tiny spots on it, otherwise it is in excellent condition. The face has white paint on steel with black painted roman numerals. The pendulum like the case is a work of art. It is made of brass and has two leaves growing from a disc with decorative rings. The back is covered with a solid piece of wood. This clock comes with a key to wind it up. If you need any help setting it up just send me a message and I will be glad to help you. If you keep your finger off of the face when you st the time you will not wear out the numbers and preserve the dial. The hinges on the bezel and the pendulum door are all strong and work nice. They both stay shut and open nicely also. This is a hard to find vintage clock that will hold it's value with ease!!! The works were just oiled. This clock case is solid and so is the original mounting hook. Clocks like this one that are not hand carved sell for between dollars.
