This is a RELIABLE brand vintage sewing machine. It was made in Japan. The body is all heavy steel covered by a porcelain-like finish. Couple of small dings you can see in the pics. I bought it from a lady at a permanent flea market who used it for a few years and decided to sell it. It is built like a tank. I plugged it in and verified it works. It has its original "made in the USA" motor. It has a built in light that shines down on your work. I sold a Pfaff lately and people were asking me about how far the foot lifted. They were interested in sewing leather (thick material). The Pfaff lifted about 1/4 inch. This one lifts about 1/2 inch. You can see by the picture showing my finger under the foot. T are permanent instructions on use in the bottom of the storage case. T is a needle mounted. It includes a foot pedal that I tested. All is stored in the original case, which has storage space in the bottom for spools, bobbins and such. The case is in not so good cosmetic condition, but could be easily covered with contact paper, or glue and material. It's a little project. If you prefer it without the case let me know. Shipping weight is about 40 pounds. Paymentis due within 3 days of auction close or item may be relisted oroffered 2nd chance to other bidders. Please don't bid if you don't plan on winning and paying for winning. I
