*****OLD CHRISTMAS LIGHTS***** Vintage Reliance "Santa Lites" Christmas 15 Light C-7 Set - No. 815 GE Bulbs - Works NEXT DAY SHIPPING AFTER PAYMENT IS RECEIVED THIS COMES FROM A SMOKE-FREE HOME A LITTLE HISTORY Reliance was a trademark of the New York Merchandising Company, New York, N.Y. They were an importer and seller in Christmas lights in the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Brand names they used were: XL, Kristal Star, Spark-L-Lites, The New York Merchandise Company, Radiant, and Santa Lights DESCRIPTION This is a vintage Postwar lighting outfit by Reliance called "Santa Lights". This set contains 15 C7 General Electric ceramic glazed bulbs. It is catalog number No. 815. Metal clips are used for holding the lights on tree branches. One end of the string has a connector for adding additional set. The other end had a plug which also has a place for adding another set. The protector is on the plug end. Four (4) spare bulbs are included. The set operates in parallel, which means when one bulb burns out or becomes loose, the rest stay lit. This set is in Good+ Condition. It works and all the bulbs light. The bulbs are GE ceramic glazed bulbs that will not chip or scratch. There is no evidence of any repairs. There is one clip which came off. It is still in the box. There is a "UL" tag on the cord. The cord is red and green and is flexible
