REMINGTON COUNTER TOP DISPLAY CASE

This is a Remington Counter Top Display Case that was used for dispensing 22 ammunition. The case measures 16" wide by 10" high, and the depth is about 6 1/2" at the base and 3 1/2" at the top. The front of the case is marked "Remington "HI-SPEED" 22's For Real Power - Bulls-Eye Accuracy" on the top and "With "Kleanbore" Priming to Keep Your Gun Barrel Bright and Clean" at the bottom. Both sides are marked: Remington Dupont. On the back there is information about the different types of shells that were displayed in the case and the retail prices per box for the various shell sizes. There is a wire latch on the back of the case that releases the front window which can then be rotated up from the bottom for access to the shells. The case is nicely made and is in good condition. There are a few nicks and scrapes on the wood, particularly on the back edges, in keeping with it's age and use, and there is a portion of the paper information sheet attached to the back missing. The case originally had 5 separate compartments, divided by four wood partitions. Three of these partitions are missing. I have included several photos to help you better see the condition of this very unique piece. This would be a great companion piece to display with a gun collection or in a den, filled with vintage cartridge cases.
