RARE & VINTAGE - REMINGTON "TRANSISTOR 6" Transistor radioThis is a VERY RARE Remington transistor radio. We have searched on Ebay, Pinterest, Google, and Yahoo and were not able to find another one like it.We tested this unit with a 9 volt battery. We were able to turn the device on and heard sound coming from the unit. Not sure if the reception was bad when we tested it, but although we heard sound/speech not every word was clearly spoken. Also, as we turned the tuning dial on the left, sound was not present under all channels/settings - not sure if this was due to bad reception or that the unit was not receiving any signal on the other channels/frequencies.A couple things to note:Model KR-6TS40Device is made in Japan Comes with brown leather case Comes with mono earphone/earbud --- Which also fits in a small leather pouchPhysically, the unit looks good with the exception of the slot used to open up the unit to replace the battery - Looks like a quarter or some other tool may have been used to pop the back open, so you will see some pressure damage to the plastic --- See last photo The inside of the unit seems to be in order, but part of the "brown thing" has broken off --- See 2nd to last photo You may be able to repair this if you are good with electronics Item is being sold AS-IS and we have disclosed all information that was read more
