This lovely vintage copper necklace and earrings set was made by Renoir in the 1950s. The pattern is "Aztec" and can be seen on page 12 of Burkholz and Kaplan's book, Copper Art Jewery. It is typical of the well-designed, well-made jewelry that Renoir produced. The copper is shiny and bright. Both the necklace and earrings are signed "Renoir" in script. The necklace is 19" long and can be adjusted a little shorter. It is 1 1/4" wide at the widest point. The clip-on earrings measure 1 1/2" x 7/8" (and the clips are snug). The necklace is in excellent condition; the earrings have a very small amount of age appropriate scuffing. A worthy addition to a collection and fabulous casual jewelry to wear!
