Vintage Retired Original Mackenzie Childs Torquay Sea and Shore Pottery 15" Teapot Rare vintage Torquay Sea and Shore piece by the original Victoria and Richard Mackenzie Childs design team. It is a 6 cup (48 oz.) teapot (15") made of greenware majolica and hand painted at the original studios in Aurora, New York. The colors of the tea pot are the Mackenzie Childs' signature black and white checked with floral decals and a yellow and teal striped middle. The base is yellow with pink flowers. The octagonal lid has a marbled green glaze, with a large antiqued brass bead on top, and is signed "JE" inside. Minor wear and imperfections, but there is no major damage, cracks or repairs This rare, retired teapot will be securely and generously packaged for shipping.
