Approximate Maximum Dimensions: height 19cm, diameter 11cm, depth 6cm Identifying Marks: hand inscribed in base which looks like a scrawled nm or mm or nw or mw ... or the other way up could be G iw Materials and Design: Made of some kind of pottery (possibly earthenware) with cream base colour in matt. All shaped as a stylised cat with scooped head/ears forming open-topped vase. The tail is set to form a handle so it could also perhaps be used as a jug. Roughly hand painted with orange face and highlighted along tail also in norange. Black and gold marking towards front, eyes and nose marked in black, eyes and ears also marked in white. Condition: Probably in need of a clean and there are some dark marks on the back and the inside is dusty. Otherwise no chips cracks etc
