This is an amazing antique/vintage gas stove. It is made by Chambers and is a rare find because it is BLACK and most all of the stoves of this age are white. It is in very good condition with no unusual wear or damage that isn't expected with normal wear for its age. I have had several messages from fellow eBayers telling me that it is the very desireable "Model C" dating from the 1950's (1948-49 at the earliest). It also has the Thermobaker still inside the Thermowell and it is worth some money all by itself too! It was in good working condition when I moved it from my last house approximately 4-5 years ago. It has been carefully stored under cover In my garage since then. I am selling this stove "as-is" since I haven't been able to hook it up to check it since I moved it. I had intentions of incorporating this stove into my kitchen when I renovated it, but it didn't work out as I had planned due to sizing constraints. Therefore, my loss is definitely your gain!! I am sad to see it go... It measures: 37.5" wide x 28" deep x 39" high (including the backsplash- 33" to the top of the cooking surface). This stove will be a GREAT addition for someone's kitchen, whether you use it as is, or get it fully restored.
