Wade harvest ware copper lustre hand painted teapot.This stunning teapot was produced and manufactured in and around 1940's 1950's by wade Heath England. The teapot is part of their harvest ware range pattern number 4883 The piece features extensive hand painted work right around the main body as well as hand painted copper lustre detailing. The teapot has a large ear shaped handle with a one spur detail and a raised plinth base with a short trim spout and a balloon like shape to the main body. The lid has a spinning top shaped finial and a pierced hole.The hand painted work of flowers, foliage and cross hatching features right around the main body in glorious tones of maroon/burgundy, yellow, green, brown and purple on a biscuit colour ceramic background. The piece is stamped on the base in a green printed stamp which reads: harvest ware wade England there is also a pattern number painted by hand in brown:4883And a letter c an two painted marks.The teapot stands 12.5 cmIn a relatively good order there are no chips, cracks or crazing or restoration to the piece The hand painted work is 100% intact and full bold and bright.
