OFFERING THIS WEEK: ITEM: LOVELY VINTAGE HAND CARVED WOODEN MUSIC BOX. SWISS REUGE MOVEMENT. HAND CARVED IN ITALY. PLAYS AVE MARIA, BY SCHUBERT AND WORKS. BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL PRAYING AT THE CRUSIFICTION WHILE A HAND CARVED LITTLE BIRD LOOKS ON. ~ SIZE: 4 1/2" ACROSS X 7 3/4" TALL. ~ MARK: HAS TWO PAPER LABELS: FOIL LABEL: TORIART ITALY. PAPER LABEL IS RIPPED: REUGE, SCHUBERT. ~ ITEM DESCRIPTION: Sweet music box with wonderful intricate carving and painting. ~ CONDITION: The music box plays just fine. The carving is lovely. The piece is dusty from age, and has not been cleaned. It is missing the cross piece of the fence, missing a leaf from the flower and possibly another bird from the other fence post.
