Vintage Revere Ware Percolator This vintage Revere Ware percolator is complete and in excellent condition. The pot has a copper bottom, glass knob (original), and Bakelite handle; all other parts are stainless steel. This pot stands 5 3/4" tall (without the lid) and should make 4-6 cups of coffee. The bottom of the pot is marked with the Revere Ware logo ( COPPER CLAD / 1801 REVERE WARE / STAINLESS STEEL ) and PATENT 2272609 / MADE UNDER PROCESS PATENT / RIVERSIDE, CAL (all Revere Ware made at the Riverside plant was made prior to 1968). Buying vintage Revere Ware makes sense, as collectors agree that Revere Ware made before 1968 is superior to and more durable than that made later on. Cleaning Revere Ware copper and stainless steel is easy using Kleen King Stainless Steel & Copper Cleaner (or even just some lemon juice and salt). Revere Ware collectors will want to add this great percolator to their set! If you are new to percolators, the following instructions for making coffee in a Revere Ware pot should be helpful: Revere Ware Vintage Percolator Instructions Adapted from Revere's Guide to Better Cooking :Use 2 level tablespoons of regular grind coffee to 1 measuring cup of water (cold). Place on medium flame (electric stove works too), keep on flame for three to four minutes after percolator begins percolating. Then take from burner and remove basket and coffee is ready to serve.
