This is a vintage set of six brand new gold rimmed glasses from 1974 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Rice & Holman Ford which was founded in 1924 in Merchantville, NJ. The glasses are new having never been used. They have been stored in the original box since the mid 70's by a former Rice & Holman employee. They were hand washed recently to remove any dust, and as you can see they really sparkle. These glasses are very rare as only a limited number were produced for the anniversary and it is unlikely that a similar set of new glasses could be found. They are in pristine condition, the 23K gold trim solid and unfaded. The glasses measure 5 1/2" tall, 2 3/4" across at the mouth and 2 3/8" across at the base. They come in the original box and packaging with a pamphlet titled "Custom Design Glassware" which details the history of glassmaking and gives specific care instructions. They would be a fine addition for any collector of automobile advertising.
