You are bidding on a Vintage Perfume Bottle and Powder Box made for Irving W. Rice during the war by the Imperial Glass Co. ca. 1938-48. This Beautiful Bottle & Stopper is number E-913 and the Powder box & Cover is E-914. The Pattern is of Grapes and Leaves. The leaves have been sandblasted to give it a frosted look.

The bottle is ribbed with a grape bunch in the center on back and front and a grape bunch on opposing side as handles. The leaves are sandblasted and the rest of the bottle is ribbed and sits on pedastal ribbed base. Measures 5 " high without stopper and 9 3/4" high with stopper and is approx.4" wide.

The Stopper has a glass rod shaped like a heart with a glass rod shaped like a bow underneath. Inside the heart and bow is a cluster of grapes. sitting atop the heart and beneath the bow is the sandblasted leaves. Between the bottom leaves is a glass shell pattern. This combination is magnificently beautiful. Measures 5 1/4" tall x 3 3/4" wide.

The Powder box lid decoration starts with three vines in the very center of the top. The vines are swirled and connect to a cluster or bunch of grapes. Inbetween the grapes are the sandblasted leaves. The sandblasting is only partial to leaves on top. This is heavily and deeply embossed and even more beautiful than the stopper. Measures 5 1/8" in diameter x 1 1/2" high. Measures 2 3/4" high sitting on base.

The Powder box base has a faceted button pattern around the sides and between a eight point star on the outside bottom base. The star lines are so deep they give the effect of eight feet. I believe this base was universally used for quite a few I. Rice Powder Boxes. Measures 4 5/8" in diameter x 1 1/2" high.

Condition: Bottle: One chigger bite on one handle leaf . Stopper: T is a crack on the heart glass rod that runs thru one grape ( See Pic) and two of the leaf tips are chipped. Powder Box & Lid: No chips, cracks or breaks. Thank you. You may bid now.
