This knife is marked G-96 brand on the handle. The blade is marked model 3030 rustproof steel japan. This was G-96's version of the big heavy duty custom knives being made by Rigid. G-96 made copies of lots of different knives including gerber and buck, but their copies of Rigids are by far the most difficult to find. This one is about 9 1/2 inches long. It has a thick heavy blade and thick heavy brass guard + pommel bolsters. It is built with a full tang and deep finger grooves that really fit your had perfectly. The handle is hard wood and is in great shape. The knife comes with its original black leather sheath. The sheath is marked G-96 japan 3030. The knife and sheath are used and have some wear.
