Up for auction from my private collection iswhat I believe to be a Rindskopf art glass vase set in a Meriden metal base. This scarce examplemeasures 15 inches tall to the top of the glass when in it's base. The ruffled top rim measures 6 inches in diameter and the glass portion of the vase measures 12.25 inches tall. The condition of the glass is excellent with no damage to report what so ever. The metal base is signed on the bottom as seen in the photos provided and measures 9 inches tall to the top of the base. The base has four hoofed feet that transition into what looks like a mythic creature head with rings in their mouths. There is a cherub holding the base cup at the bottom of the glass vase. The base shows some signs of oxidation, but I'll leave the cleaning and/or condition up to the future owner. The vase has a wonderful color, texture and transition as it moves up the stem to the rim. All colors of the rainbow are represented in the iridescent finish. A great addition to any fine collection and a must have for the Rindskopf collector.
