This platter is in excellent vintage condition. Please take a look at all the pictures, as I have provided many in both indoor and outside lighting. Due to the heavy weight and cost to ship all sales will be final on this one. The glaze is very shiny and has a bit of discoloration on one edge and underside. There are no chips or cracks. It has a rectangle well and two tab handles. This platter dates back to the early 1930's and I believe was manufactured by the Homer Laughlin China Co. It doesn't sit 100% perfectly flat (but close) but upon examination, all 4 from my personal collection in different sizes are the same way. It is still very useable and displays beautifully.This is the largest size made by HLC and I believe is pictured in the batter set including platter, covered syrup, and batter pitcher all in ivory on page 86 of the Collectors Encyclopedia of Fiesta 9th Edition. DIMENSIONS: The diameter of the tray from handle to handle is 15". The diameter of the shorter side of the platter is 11 3/8inches.This platter is heavy & weighs nearly 5 lbs unboxed!
